Children & Youth Programs
the groups, games, and gatherings we run just for the youths in our Parish
Education
Church School
Grades Pre-K through 5
Sunday mornings (10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.)
Children rejoin the congregation in worship during the exchange of the Peace
Our Safe Church certified church school teachers offer a combination of education, personal expression, and outreach activities designed to engage children of all abilities in age-appropriate conversation and action about faith and encourage them to form friendships, build community, explore our religious traditions, and have a pretty great time.
Youth Group
middle & high school aged young adults
Our middle school and high school aged young adults meet for Bible study, social activities, and to research and plan service opportunities, from local food drives to domestic and international mission trips. We are currently restructuring our Youth Group. If you are interested in youth ministry opportunities please speak with Fr. Patrick.
During Worship
Nursery
infants and toddlers (6 months through 3 years old)
staffed during 10am Sunday service. open to little ones under their loved ones' supervision during all services
During our 10am service we have two Safe Church Certified attendants who offer a warm, welcoming nursery for infants and toddlers from 6 months through three years old. The nursery is located between the church nave and Field Hall.
Acolytes
ages 8+
Those 8 years old and older are welcome to serve as acolytes and lead the processions in and out of our 10:00 a.m. services, lead the Gospel procession during the liturgy, assist with the offertory plates, and assist the clergy in preparing the altar for the Eucharist. This is a great way to participate in and contribute actively to our worship.
Activities & Events
Throughout the liturgical year, our children and youth participate in a huge variety of vibrant activities hosted by our community. These include pumpkin carving, St. Nicholas Day, Christmas Pageants, Chili Cook-Offs, Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, Good Friday Way of the Cross, Easter egg hunt, and more. We also hold ice cream socials, movie nights, and soft ball games. We strive to offer all members of parish opportunities to develop their personal relationships with God, build community with each other, feel the support of our congregation, explore their gifts and have a good time.
