Our Rector
While I’ve only been the Rector of St. John’s since November of 2018, my history with St. John’s goes back to the 1980’s when my family moved to Barrington. I first heard my calling to the priesthood in our Youth Group in the late nineties, was sponsored for ordination by St. John’s in the late two-thousand aughts, and am now so delighted to be back home.
Before coming home to St. John’s I served as the Assistant to the Rector at St. Paul’s, Wickford and as the Rector at Saints Matthew & Mark, Barrington. I have served in a number or roles throughout our diocese, and currently serve as a Deputy to General Convention, a member of the Standing Committee, and as Chair of the Congregation Development Commission.
In my off time you’ll find me with my wife Carmen and our two kids, Jackson and Hazel. I enjoy reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, listening to 90’s alternative and punk rock music, and supporting local theater.
I am so excited to serve back home at St. John’s. This church where I first came to know the love of God shown to us in Jesus Christ continues to be a community that strives to know and make known the love and grace of God.
