The clergy do not insist on any specific membership requirements for weddings, baptisms and funerals. However,
pre-marital counseling and pre-baptismal instruction are required.
Holy Baptism is appropriately reserved for the following days: Easter Vigil, the Feast of Pentecost, All Saints' Day
or the Sunday following, and the First Sunday after the Epiphany (the Feast of the Baptism of our Lord).
Exceptions to this rule can be made in unusual circumstances. All baptisms take place at one of the primary services on Sunday morning.
All canons and rubrics of the Episcopal Church are observed regarding these services and all music must be in accordance with the religious nature of these services. |
