Michelle DuPont, Parish Administrator
My role as Parish Administrator covers a wide variety of duties; but almost all of them
share a common thread - spending time with the people of St. John's Church, the best part of my ministry!
As I pay the bills, spend time with families on details of Baptisms, Marriages and Funerals, work closely with
our Stewardship Commission each year on the Every Member Canvass or just be a caring ear to those who
need to talk, I am constantly reminded of how lucky I am to be part of this thriving community of St. John's.
- Tony Simas, Sexton
I am responsible for the maintenance of our building. If you ever have a question about our facilities, don't hesitate to ask me.
Leslie Ferland, Lay Ministries Director
Leslie Ferland began her new ministry as Lay Ministries Director on September 4, 2008.
Leslie is well known to many of us. She has been a member of St. John's for over eighteen years and has
served as a Youth Group advisor and as a choir member. For eight years she worked as coordinator and manager of Encore, and is currently a knitter for the prayer shawl ministry.
Leslie brings this rich experience and many deep connections with parishioners to this half-time parish
ministry, along with her deep faith, compassionate heart, and a lively sense of humor. Please welcome her
to St. John's staff and offer your support of her work of connecting people's gifts to the joy of ministry in Christ's name.
Ann Piper, Youth Ministry Director I grew up in Barrington and was baptized and confirmed at St. John's. My family and I
returned to Barrington and St. John's in 2001. Over the years, we have participated in teaching church school, flower delivery, ushering, children's choir, and vestry.
Currently, my husband, Greg, is on the Search Committee. Our daughters, Julia and Erin, are acolytes and I am a church school co-teacher.
I work part time at my family's business here in Barrington. My passion at St. John's is working with children and I look forward to serving as Youth Ministry Director.
Joan Warren, Communications Editor Joan came to St. John's in May of 2006 and continues to keep the parish up-to-date
