■ Property Team Appraise the condition, adequacy, and attractiveness of our facilities as a place of worship and fellowship.
■ Stewardship Team Develop and implement an annual giving campaign and other fund raising activities to raise money to support the parish.
■ Memorial Garden Team Oversee the care and maintenance of St. John's Memorial Garden.
■ Finance Team Assist the Treasurer in the administration of an annual operating budget that promotes financial stability at St. John's.
■ Vestry Governing body of the parish that is responsible for funds, building and providing leadership to the parish. Elected at the Annual Meeting.
■ Planned Giving Team Assist in developing strategies to help parishioners make bequests to St. John's.
■ Equipping Ministry Team Prepare, connect and equip members of the parish in gifts-based ministry. Coordinate gifts discovery and temperament workshops.
■ Communications Team - Strategize ways to communicate information to parish and community.
■ Office Administrative Assistant During office hours serves as a warm and welcoming presence by greeting people, in person or on the telephone. Assists with administrative tasks. Computer skills desired.
■ Parish Mailings Help with assembling and mailing newsletters, etc. 2-3 days per month usually in the morning.
■ John's Mobile Meal's Meals are delivered to residents of Barrington and Riverside on Saturdays. St. John's is on for 6 weeks and rotates with St. Mark's, Riverside, for 6 weeks. Cooks, bakers, drivers needed.
■ Encore Consignment store located at St. John's operated by the Episcopal Church Women. 3 days per week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and the first Saturday of the month 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, September June.
Encore will close for the summer on June 12. June 10-12, all items are half price.
■ St. Ann's, New York St. John's has formed a relationship with St. Ann's Church in the South Bronx. Opportunities include: Tutoring, maintenance, landscaping, maintaining computer lab.
■ Episcopal Charities The Diocesan annual appeal to generate funds.
■ Mission Trip Locations vary between regional, national and international opportunities.
■ Episcopal Conference Center (ECC) Organize campaign to raise funds to provide scholarships for children from St. Ann's to attend ECC.
■ Outreach/Mission Team - Provides opportunities through service to others. Team identifies, initiates and assists with outreach activities.
■ B.O.W. - Beyond Our Walls - An interfaith group created to do good for the local community and beyond. Anyone with a willingness to share their knowledge, energy and creative talents and a desire to better humanity as a whole is welcome to join us. Link to www.bowri.org website.

■ Adult Education Assist with planning for Sunday forum series.
■ Bible Study Meet with a small group to discuss scriptural readings.
■ Book Discussion Group Meets on the 4th Monday of every month to discuss current book.
■ Library Assistants Maintain our library and review materials.
■ Inquirer's Class Learn more about the Episcopal Church.
■ What In God's Name Are You Doing? Discover your gifts and talents.
■ Adventure In Awareness Determine your personality type and temperament and how we work and pray together.
■ Pray Your Way A tool that recognizes our individual preferences for receiving energy, taking in information, making decisions, and relating to the world around us.
Youth
■ Youth Event Facilitator Assist with planning a youth event.
■ Small Group Leader Assist with Youth Group activities or teach a class.
■ Wednesday evening prayer cook-prepare a meal for 10-20 youth. Chaperone-Assist with group trips and overnights
Children
■ Church School Teacher Lead children in classroom activities on Sunday mornings.
■ Room Parent Assist the teacher with church school activities.
■ Nursery Parent Assist nursery care provider with infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings.
Family Ministries
■ Family Ministries Team Develop family activities for worship, fellowship and outreach.
■ Family Ministries Event/Activity Leaders Plan and coordinate Family Ministry activities and events throughout the year.
■ Family Fellowship Dinners Plan and coordinate family dinners held approximately 3 times per year.
■ Family Usher/Greeters Serve as ushers and greeters at the worship service.
■ Family Flower Deliverer Take flowers from the altar on Sunday and take to a member of St. John's who is sick or homebound.
