I hope you are all having a joyous, introspective, and blessed New Year.
I am writing for a myriad of reasons, the first to say a great, big “Thank You!” to the Choir for getting the Advent and Christmas Season off to a great start. Please remember, we are always looking for new members, so, if you, a relative, or friend are interested, feel free to speak to me or Father Locke.
As many of you know, I am still new to this parish and am unfamiliar with what hymns you may or may not know. In the past, I had requested, via the bulletin, that you inform me of hymns with which you are familiar, and, unfortunately, received no response. I would be more than glad to set up a time to meet with you to go over your favorite hymns, in order that the Service be a more fulfilling experience for you in which to serve the Lord though song. Please see me after Service on any Sunday, and I will be happy to set up a date/time.
In closing, I would like to wish everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous New Year.
