We encourage you to bring your children to church school at 9:00am on Sundays, as well as attending church as
a family at our 10:00am service which is child friendly.
The church school program at St. John's has been lovingly developed over the years and now offers a fun and
spiritually fulfilling learning experience for about 150 children and about 20 teachers. The following programs are
offered for each age group listed below. We invite you to come and take part in the community of our church school wing.
Ages 3 months to 3 years: Our nursery room is staffed by paid child-care workers and is available to your baby
or toddler from 9am-noon each Sunday. You will find this room just outside the side entrance to the nave.

Grades 4-5: Our Older Elementary classes follow the
Living the Good News Curriculum. Each week they will do a short bible study based on the readings that were read in church and then they will have the opportunity to
respond with a craft, drama, a game or another fun project. This age group (along with their parents) also has an opportunity each Spring to participate in This Bread, This Cup
, a four-week long Communion education class which helps kids to further understand the sacrament of Eucharist which they are welcome to partake in anytime after they have been baptized.
